Today, we spoke with Krishna Dosapati about the future of professional networking. Professional networking has become more digital than ever, but many professionals feel it has also become less personal. In this in-depth conversation, Krishna shares how Clockout App is building a more human approach to career connections and also addresses the recent $80K salary rumor that started from a random social media post.

Interviewer: Welcome, Krishna Dosapati. It’s a pleasure to have you with us today. We’re excited to learn more about your journey, the vision behind Clockout Social App, and how you’re working to make professional networking more meaningful, accessible, and human.
Krishna Dosapati: Thank you for having me. The idea for Clockout App came from a simple observation. Professional networking had become very digital, but it also started to feel less personal. Many platforms were focused on content, visibility, and self-promotion. While that works for some people, many professionals just want real conversations and meaningful relationships.
I saw that especially with Gen Z and young professionals. They were tired of endless scrolling and surface-level connections. They wanted networking to feel natural, local, and rewarding – not transactional.
That’s why I created Clockout App. The goal was to blend technology with human connection. We use smart tools like AI to help people find the right matches, but the focus is always on building real relationships that can truly support career growth.
Interviewer: Krishna, what inspired you to create Clockout App?
Krishna Dosapati: I wanted networking to feel natural, local, and rewarding – not transactional. I saw professionals getting tired of endless posts and surface-level engagement. People wanted real conversations again.

Interviewer: What problem were you trying to solve in the networking space?
Krishna Dosapati: The biggest problem was noise. Many platforms became content-heavy and attention-driven. Networking started to feel like marketing. I wanted to bring it back to real relationship-building.
Interviewer: How does Clockout App make networking more meaningful?
Krishna Dosapati: We focus on smart matchmaking. Our AI connects users based on shared goals, interests, and location. This increases the chances of real compatibility and long-term value.
Interviewer: Why is local networking important in today’s digital world?
Krishna Dosapati: Local connections build stronger trust. While digital tools are powerful, face-to-face conversations often lead to deeper relationships. We encourage users to turn online matches into real-world interactions.
Interviewer: Clockout App has grown quickly. What do you credit for that momentum?
Krishna Dosapati: Community-first growth. We focused on strong user experience and organic word of mouth. Reaching over 400,000 downloads and ranking in the Top 20 of our App Store category shows that people are finding value.
Media coverage from outlets like ABC News, Bloomberg, Fox News, CBS, and The Cut has also helped increase awareness.

Interviewer: There was a rumor about an $80K salary requirement to join. What happened?
Krishna Dosapati: That rumor started from a random social media post. It was not based on any official statement from us.
There is no $80K salary requirement to use the Clockout App. We believe networking should be open and accessible to professionals at all stages.
Interviewer: Why is accessibility important to you?
Krishna Dosapati: Opportunity should not depend on income. Some of the most ambitious and talented people are early in their careers. We want to support students, freelancers, startup founders, and corporate professionals equally.

Interviewer: How does AI improve the user experience?
Krishna Dosapati: AI helps us make better matches. It reduces random connections and increases relevance. But AI is a tool – the real goal is building authentic human relationships.
Interviewer: Why do you think Gen Z professionals are drawn to Clockout App?
Krishna Dosapati: Gen Z values authenticity and community. They do not want to just post content. They want growth, mentorship, and real support systems. Our platform aligns with that mindset.
Interviewer: How do you see the future of professional networking?
Krishna Dosapati: I believe the future is hybrid. Digital tools will connect people, but real-world interaction will build trust. Platforms must balance technology and humanity.
Interviewer: What is your long-term vision for Clockout App?
Krishna Dosapati: We want to become the most trusted networking community for the next generation. That means expanding, improving our technology, and continuing to focus on real relationships.
